WILCO

Based in Chicago, Illinois, Wilco is definitely one of the most important music acts of the last 20 years. The band was formed in 1994 by singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirrat, both previous members of alternative country group Uncle Tupelo.

Ever since they had been showing their versatility and talent on their impressive catalog, with albums like Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2001), A Ghost Is Born (2004) or Wilco (The Album) (2009). Their style has evolved from an early alternative country with a current eclectic indie rock that touches on many eras and genres, introducing more experimental aspects to their music. On September 2016 released Schmilco, their tenth studio album and the fifth by the current sextet lineup, consisting on Tweedy and Stirratt with Glenn Kotche (drums), Mikael Jorgensen (keyboard), Nels Cline (guitar) and Pat Sansone (multi-instrumentalist) experimental aspects.
