Veteran pop singer Rick Astley has shared a video of him covering Foo Fighters‘ classic ‘Everlong’, to promote an upcoming charity gig he’ll be playing in London on December 23th.
After rocking out to the seminal single he invites people to join him on the show by saying: “I’ll be playing the drums, not the guitar – so it will sound a lot better than that.” Watch it here.
Rick Astley returns the "tribute" to Dave Ghrol’s band, who last year burst into an anti-gay rally to "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Astley.
Foo Fighters were on tour in the US and on the eve of their concert in Kansas, the Westoboro Baptist Church organized a rally in protest of Dave Ghrol's statements in favor of gay rights. The band decided then to show up on a van dancing to 'Never gonna give you”, turning the protest into a party.
