We are very sorry to announce that, due to the global Covid-19 pandemic crisis, Taylor Swift has decided to cancel her European tour, which includes our show at Mad Cool 2020.
We totally understand and respect the artist's decision during this moment of crisis we are living in. We would like to send our most sincere apologies to her fan base as you have all been giving us so much love during the last months. We are aware of the great deal of excitement her visit to our country had generated after almost a decade without her coming. Therefore, we are already working hard so that sooner or later, we can bring her back in a future festival edition.
Even though we are living in hard times, at Mad Cool we are still working to make 2020 edition happen, always following the guidelines and recommendations of our authorities. However, we want to be honest and transparent with all of you, and as time passes by, the options of being able to gather all together at Valdebebas venue to enjoy music are decreasing.
We hope to be able to give you more specific information as soon as we can make the right decisions together with the authorities, always putting your safety first, as well as the safety of artists, crew, and our team.
We are extremely grateful for your patience and understanding on this dramatic and exceptional situation we are all in.
We wouldn't like to miss this opportunity to express our most sincere affection and gratitude to all the people working hard to try and defeat COVID-19. They are the true heroes and our real headliners. Thank you!
