> Alice in Chains one of the seminal formations of the grunge movement will be at Mad Cool 2018 Festival.
> The Seattle band, which has been active for 31 years, returns to Spain after an absence of eight years.
Inspired by both the strength of heavy metal and post punk darkness, Alice in Chains has develop a particular sound in its 31-year career. Dark and nihilistic, the band has sold 20 million albums and have edited seven LP's, five studio albums and two live albums. Currently the band is recording their new album which will be released throughout 2018.
Jerry Cantrell (vocals, guitar) and Sean Kinney (drums) founded the band in 1987 in Seattle with Mike Starr (bass) and Layne Staley (vocals). Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993 and in 2006 William DuVall will take over from the great Stanley, sadly deceased in 2002.
After 8 year of absence in our country, Mad Cool 2018 Festival, will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy once more classic hits like Man In The Box, Would? or Nutshell with more recent -but equally effective- hits like Check My Brain or Howl.
