Bifannah is a psychedelic rock band formed in Vigo in 2015 by Antía Figueiras (bass, keyboard and vocals), Antón Martínez (drums and percussion), Guillermo V. Zapata (guitar and vocals) and Pablo Valladares (keyboard, guitar). Their sound blends 60s British garage and carefree tropicalia. The Brazilian overtones are enhanced by their lyrics in Portuguese (Guille lived in Porto and Antia has Brazilian roots). Following the self-released ‘Bifannah EP’ (2016), they put out their debut full-length recording, ‘Maresia’ (The John Colby Sect, 2017), mixed by Jasper Geluk (Jacco Gardner, Allah-Las...). The album retains and expands their particular universe, which they have already shown in venues here and abroad.
