> The British DJ and producer has become one of the essentials on the international electronic music scene.
> We'll be able to enjoy his stylish and particular set at the next edition of Mad Cool.
While he started spinning indie music in his native Bournemouth, UK, at the tender age of 18, a trip to Ibiza changed Daniel Avery's life, and he decided to replace the guitars with house and techno.
Erol Alkan signed him for his Phantasy Sound imprint, on which he released his first solo effort: Drone Logic (2013); a stylish and minimal piece of work on which the producer alternates highly rhythmical dance floor tracks with dreamy, atmospheric pieces.
Although Avery has been mostly focusing on his DJ career, he has released several floor-fillers, such as Sun Draw Water (2017), in collaboration with former Nine Inch Nails member Alessandro Cortini.
Moreover, between 2009 and 2011 he did remixes for the likes of Metronomy, Hercules & Love Affair, and In Flagranti, under the moniker Stopmakingme.
