> The band lead by Mark Oliver Everett ("E") joins Mad Cool 2018.
> They will play the songs on The Deconstruction, his first album in four years.
Eels is the music project of singer and songwriter Mark Oliver Everett (a.k.a Mr. E). An unconventional band, its line-up has changed many times over the years, Everett being the only official and permanent member.
Mr. E has released seven studio albums since 1996, including the essential Electro-Shock Blues (1998), Blinking Lights and Other Revelations (2005) and Wonderful, Glorious (2013), true masterpieces of alternative pop rock.
As a lyricist, Everett usually writes about adult and complex themes—death, loneliness, divorce, childhood, depression and unrequited love. He is also a skilled writer. His autobiography Things The Grandchildren Should Know became a cult book and made Eeel’s known beyond the alternative milieu.
After a four-year hiatus, Eels are back in 2018 with The Deconstruction, a new full-length album released in April we will have the privilege to listen to live at Mad Cool Festival 2018.
