> Fatima Yamaha is the moniker of Belgian musician Bas Bron.
For many years, the name Fatima Yamaha was shrouded in mystery. No one knew her real identity beyond a short introduction as the young daughter of a Japanese father and a Turkish mother. It was later revealed the name was the moniker of Belgian musician Bas Bron, who has two more alter egos as a musician: Bastian and Seymour Bits.
Following the 2004 EP 'A Girl Between Two Worlds', Fatima Yamaha vanished to reappear 11 years later with the Dekmantel album 'What's a Girl To Do'. The rest is history. Soon after that, her debut album 'Imaginary Lines' (2015) came out, followed up by 'Love Invaders' (2016) and Araya (2017). Fatima Yamaha’s outer space synths and beachy electro-funk will fill Mad Cool 2018 with good vibrations.
