Drawing on dreamy indie-folk and melancholic electronica, American musician Woodson Negro created Haux, a project in which elegant guitars and dance music come together.
After studying at Northeastern University in Boston, he moved to London to work as an intern at a record label. There, he becomes familiar with the scene, and he starts writing for several music magazines.
After years of writing, producing and mixing, his opportunity came in 2016 with 'All We’ve Know', a delightful first EP which he followed up with the singles 'Touch', 'Youth', 'Seaside', 'Homegrow', and, most recently, 'Cologne' (2017). Woodson grew up in the pastoral calm of the Berkshires (Massachusetts), and the natural beauty of the area can be heard in his songs.
After opening for Monarchy during past November's Mad Cool London Session, Haux will present his live show in Madrid at Mad Cool Festival 2018.
