> The British musician is one of the leading figures of techno music.

A techno genius and psychedelic shaman, British musician James Holden (1979) has tried it all. He is the founder of the Border Community imprint, a trendsetting producer, a coveted DJ and the author of remixes for artists of the likes of Depeche Mode, Madonna and New Order.
At the young of 19, he put out his first single, 'Horizons' (2000), which became an international hit. Ever since then, every effort has marked a departure from previous releases. His first album, 'The Idiots Are Winning' (2006), was eminently ambient, while his sophomore effort, 'The Inheritors' (2013), resumed his rhythmic pulse.
His latest adventure is a band with which he has released a unclassifiable, self-titled full-length prog-jazz-psych-folk-gnawa album, 'The Animal Spirits' (2017). The full band will be performing at Mad Cool 2018.
