For the third consecutive year, Mad Cool Festival is pleased to announce the winners of Mad Cool Gallery, the contest that seeks to promote emerging talent and the coexistence of different artistic disciplines –photography and illustration this time around— in the festival.
Between 27th of April and 11th of May we received a total of 462 photographs and 396 illustrations. After carefully examining each piece, Mad Cool Gallery jury –formed by Ana Belén García, Director of Exhibitions of PhotoEspaña; Jorge Salgado, General Coordinator of EFTI (International Center of Photography and Cinema) and the organization of Mad Cool Festival 2018– selected 25 artworks from each category that will be exhibited on 12th, 13th and 14th of July at the Mad Cool Festival.
