Mad Cool Festival completes its 2019 line up with Prophets of Rage, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Gossip and more!

Prophets of Rage, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Cat Power, Gossip or Empire Of The Sun amongst other stars, finalize the so awaited line up of the most important music date of the year, Mad Cool Festival 2019. More than 20 bands add up to the 60 previously announced, that will make Madrid shake on July 11^th, 12^th and 13^th with a unique and unrepeatable experience.

With this line up, Mad Cool Festival is looking to achieve and repeat the great success of the 2018 edition that was awarded by the prestigious NME the Best Line Up and the Arthur Award to the New Gig on the Block, from the musical industry ILMC. A new wave of confirmed bands that bets for a wide variety in genre and styles from Gossip’s queer pink disco to American Authors’s indie-rock, electronic music from Tourist or Demob Happy’s funky. No doubt this will fulfill the wishes of thousands of music fans in one of the world’s most important music events.

It was back on November 6^th when The National lead up the surprises of the 2019 line up and since then, there have been nonstop additions. After that, Mad Cool Festival bombshell with the tsunami style announcement of 23 bands, including The Smashing Pumpkins, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Greta Van Fleet, Jorja Smith, Bonobo, Jon Hopkins, The Hives… And now, awaiting for the winners of the Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou and some other surprises, Mad Cool completes its 2019 line up from which H.E.R disappears by unilateral cancellation of its whole Europe Tour. For logistical reasons beyond our control, Teenage Fanclub also drops out of the line up. Ms.Lauryn Hill and American Authors fill in their places.
