6. Right of Admission and Access to the Festival

The Buyer must present their ticket in a state that allows its code to be electronically verified for admission.

Staff will scan the ticket upon wristband exchange and correctly secure the wristband on the attendee’s wrist. The wristband will then serve as proof of the right of access. Wristband chips will be checked at venue entrances.

In accordance with Law 17/1997 on Public Shows and Recreational Activities, the right of admission may be exercised to prevent violence, disturbances, or any situation posing real and serious danger to attendees or to the proper functioning of the Festival.

Admission may be denied temporarily or permanently when necessary for safety reasons.

The right of admission shall never entail discrimination on the basis of birth, race, sex, religion, opinion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other personal or social condition.

Entry will be denied to anyone carrying dangerous or prohibited items, including but not limited to:
•    Sharp or blunt objects; glass items; aluminium or glass bottles; weapons; explosives; fireworks; laser pointers; sprays; aerosols; selfie sticks; flagpoles; motorcycle helmets; coolers.
•    Any item that could disrupt or impede the event.

•    Trollies, coolers, suitcases or oversized bags.

Exceptions are made for medically-required items, such as:
•    Crutches, walking sticks or similar mobility aids.
•    Medically prescribed aerosols or equivalent items.

Such exceptions must be justified through medical documentation shown at the entrance. No personal health data will be retained.

The Organiser may deny entry to anyone presenting a falsified ticket and may take legal action. Only the first ticket scanned will be validated; duplicates will automatically be invalid.

Attendees must carry ID at all times (DNI, NIE, passport, etc.).

Wristbands must be kept in good condition and are required for re-entry and for the refund of any remaining balance after the Festival.

Wearing offensive ideological messages, or elements with racist, homophobic or intolerant content, is prohibited.

7. Food and Drink

Food and drink may be brought into the Festival, provided they are not intended for distribution to others.

For security reasons, drinks are allowed only in plastic or similar recyclable containers, without caps.

Food and beverage stalls will be available inside the venue, as well as free drinking-water points.

8.Cancellations and Substantial Changes

Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded except as required by applicable law and these terms.

If the Festival is cancelled or substantially modified, attendees may choose:
1.    A full or partial refund of the ticket price, excluding non-essential fees; or
2.    A voucher for the next edition of the Festival, equivalent to the original ticket at no extra cost.

No refunds will be made if the cancellation or change occurs after the event has begun due to force majeure not attributable to the Organiser.

Refunds will be processed through the ticketing platform where the ticket was purchased.

Attendees will be informed of applicable procedures according to each situation.

Only tickets purchased from official outlets will be eligible for refunds.

9. Programme Changes

Unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control may require modifications. The Organiser will make its best efforts to provide alternatives and ensure proper Festival development.

If such modifications substantially alter the Festival's characteristics, attendees will be informed and may exercise their rights according to the previous clause.

As a multi-artist event, performance times may change due to live-event factors beyond the Organiser’s control.

10. Safety and Health

The Organiser complies with current safety legislation and employs the necessary staff to ensure attendee safety.

Any assault, theft or criminal behaviour must be reported immediately to security personnel. The Organiser is not responsible for incidents occurring inside or near the venue; these must be reported to the authorities.

A “lost and found” point will be available. Items remaining after the Festival will be delivered to the nearest police station.

11. Minimum Age and Minors

Age is determined at the time of the Festival.
The minimum age to attend, according to the Community of Madrid, is 18. Exceptionally, minors may attend live performances but must leave the venue once performances have ended.
Children under 16 may enter only if accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorised adult.   Authorisation forms are available for download.
Children aged 0–8 (inclusive) may enter free of charge.
Minors may not purchase or consume alcohol, tobacco, imitation products, or any substances harmful or prohibited. Any minor found consuming such substances will be expelled.
Access requirements:
•    Ages 0–8: No ticket required; must obtain a specific wristband at the entrance and be accompanied by an authorised adult at all times.  Authorisation forms are available for download.
•    Ages 9–15: Ticket required; must be accompanied by an authorised adult. Authorisation forms are available for download.

12. Capacity Limits

Each stage and area has a legally established capacity. Once reached, access will be temporarily restricted. The Organiser is not responsible for any attendee’s inability to attend certain performances due to capacity limits.

13. Prohibition of Ticket Resale

Resale of any ticket is strictly prohibited.

Tickets purchased via official outlets grant access to the Buyer as the holder, even if the ticket does not bear their name.

The original Buyer may transfer tickets to close acquaintances provided that:
1.    The ticket holder can prove their identity and relationship with the Buyer.
2.    The transfer is free of charge or at the original price.
3.    The transfer occurs directly, without intermediaries or resale platforms.

Identity checks may be conducted via QR scanners or other means.

Tickets acquired through resale, unofficial outlets or secondary markets are fraudulent. Any Buyer reselling tickets unlawfully will have all their tickets invalidated without refund. Tickets may be cancelled and reissued for sale.

Resellers may be liable for civil and/or criminal proceedings and must compensate Mad Cool Festival S.L. for damages caused.

Resellers are not protected under consumer law (DSA – Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

14. Prohibition of Ticket Use for Advertising

Possession of a ticket does not grant permission to use it for advertising, marketing or promotional purposes — including raffles, competitions or giveaways — without prior written consent from the Organiser.
Unauthorised use may result in legal action and compensation for damages.

15. Intellectual and Industrial Property

Attendees acknowledge that the Organiser holds all intellectual, industrial and image rights related to performances or activities taking place at the Festival, without territorial or temporal limitation.

Recording or capturing images or sound for commercial or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation. Personal and private use is permitted.

Attendees acknowledge and accept that they may appear in photographs or recordings taken for the promotion or dissemination of the Festival by Mad Cool Festival S.L.

Images will generally be accessory, panoramic, general or of public interest. Close-up images will not be used without explicit consent.

Attendees authorise the Organiser to use such images only during and for promotion of the Festival.

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Please consult our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy for more information.

17. Processing of Sensitive Data Related to Access

•    The attendee provides explicit consent by presenting medical documentation to access the venue with specific items.
•    Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the attendee (e.g., allergies requiring them to bring their own food or drink).

18. Personal Data Protection

In accordance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and the Spanish LOPDGDD (Organic Law 3/2018), your data will be processed by Mad Cool Festival S.L. to manage your participation in concerts, activities, raffles and related services, and to provide information regarding Mad Cool Festival S.L.

If any clause is declared null or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity of the remaining clauses, which shall remain fully effective.

Any attempt at fraud, trespassing or damage to private property, whether directly or indirectly committed against the Organiser, will authorise the Organiser to take appropriate civil and criminal action.
