The purchase of tickets constitutes acceptance of the following conditions.

The Buyer guarantees having read and understood the terms and conditions of this website, which are accepted upon purchasing the tickets.

Tickets purchased through online sales points in Spain include home delivery of the wristband. The online sales points are those previously mentioned: MADCOOLTICKETS.
In the event of situations arising due to health, emergency, safety, or logistical reasons that make home delivery of the wristband impossible, and such situations are beyond the control of the Organization, not attributable to it, and unavoidable, the wristband may be collected at the entrance of the Festival venue.
6. Right of Admission and Access to the Festival
The Buyer must present their ticket in a format that can be scanned at the electronic control to verify the validity of the code printed on it. This ensures smooth and expedited admission at the Festival’s access points.
The Organization’s staff will check the ticket code when exchanging the ticket for a wristband and will correctly secure the wristband on the wrist of the ticket holder. Similarly, they will verify the chip embedded in the wristband at the Festival entrance for all attendees. Once the ticket has been exchanged for a wristband in the designated area, the wristband becomes the certified proof of the acquired right.
In accordance with Spanish Law 17/1997, dated July 4, on Public Performances and Recreational Activities, the Organization reserves the right of admission as a tool to prevent violence, disturbances of the normal Festival proceedings, or any other situations that may pose a serious and real danger to attendees.
This does not imply automatic denial of admission to the Festival in such cases, nor for the entirety of the Festival's duration, but rather applies to situations that pose a real and serious danger to the attendees or the proper execution of the Festival, while such attitudes or circumstances persist.
The right of admission will not, under any circumstances, result in discrimination based on birth, race, gender, religion, opinion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other personal or social condition, in matters related to access, stay within the venue, or use and enjoyment of its services.
At the entrance to the venue, items deemed dangerous by the Organization or prohibited under current regulations will not be allowed. Examples include but are not limited to:
Exceptions are made for medical necessities, provided they are properly justified. Examples include:
These exceptions must be substantiated by a medical prescription or certificate at the entrance to the venue. **No medical data will be processed** by Mad Cool Festival S.L.; medical documentation will only be shown at the entrance as outlined in Section 17 of these Terms.
The Festival Organization reserves the right to deny entry to individuals presenting counterfeit tickets and may take legal action as necessary. Counterfeit tickets include any document created or altered to appear valid or to modify its authenticity.
Tickets include various security features. The Organization is not responsible for tickets not purchased through the official sales channels mentioned in these general ticket sales terms and conditions.
Each ticket must meet the minimum requirements to pass the Festival’s access control, allowing the printed code to be read electronically, as previously stated.
Attendees must carry valid identification at all times. Spanish citizens must have their national ID, and non-Spanish attendees must carry identity documents from their country of origin (NIE, passport, etc.).
Take care of your wristband to keep it in good condition. While durable, it is not indestructible. Keep your wristband upon leaving the venue, as you will need it to re-enter and to request any remaining balance refund after the Festival ends.
Only the first ticket presented and validated will be accepted. Any ticket with the same code presented later will be invalid, and the Organization will not be responsible. Therefore, we strongly advise against posting your ticket on social media, printing it in insecure locations, or sharing your ticket details with others.
Attendees are prohibited from wearing clothing with ideological references that could be deemed offensive.
Attendees are also prohibited from bringing items bearing racist, homophobic, or intolerant symbols or messages toward any group.
7. Food and Drink in the venue
Bringing food and drink into the Festival venue is allowed, provided it is not intended for distribution to groups or the public.
For safety reasons, beverages are permitted only if they are in recyclable, plastic, or similar containers and without caps.
Inside the venue, there will be various stands offering a wide selection of food and drinks for purchase.
Additionally, there will be several free potable water stations available within the venue.
8. Suspensions and Substantial Modifications
Once a ticket has been purchased, it cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the circumstances and requirements stipulated in current legislation and these general conditions apply.
If the Festival is suspended or substantially modified prior to the start of the event for reasons attributable to Mad Cool Festival S.L., attendees will have the right to choose one of the following options:
If the Festival is suspended or substantially modified after the event has already begun due to force majeure not attributable to Mad Cool Festival S.L., no ticket refund will be issued.
In the case of cancellation or substantial modification of the Festival where ticket refunds are warranted, the refund will be carried out as follows:
9. Alteration or Modification of the Festival Program
Due to unforeseen circumstances or justified causes entirely external and beyond the control of the Organization that require modifications or alterations to the originally planned characteristics of the Festival, the Organization will make every effort to find the most favorable alternative for attendees and to ensure the proper execution of the Festival. It will adopt the necessary measures with the aim of meeting the expectations of consumers.
If the modification required by circumstances beyond the Organization’s control constitutes a substantial change to the Festival's characteristics, consumers will be informed of this as soon as possible so that they may request a full or partial refund of the ticket price, excluding handling fees. Should any of the above-mentioned circumstances or modifications occur, the Organization will make every effort and utilize all available resources to adjust schedules and carry out the announced Festival program.
The Buyer acknowledges and accepts that the Festival is a multi-artist event, and therefore, the initially advertised start times of performances may be subject to changes due to live circumstances beyond the control of Mad Cool Festival S.L.
10. Minimum Age and Minors
The age to be considered is the age at the time of the event.
The Organization reminds that the minimum age set by law in the Community of Madrid to access this type of event is 16 years. Minors under 16 years old may enter provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult who must ensure their safety and proper behavior during the Festival.
Children under 8 years old (inclusive) can access the event for free, as they do not need a ticket.
Any minor caught consuming alcoholic beverages or tobacco will be expelled from the Festival.
The adult parent, legal guardian, or authorized person accompanying the minor must have a ticket/wristband to access the Festival.
Also, in the case of minors, it is essential to carry a national identity document at all times or, for attendees of non-Spanish nationality, documents proving their identity from their country of origin (NIE, passport, etc.).
11. Capacity Limitation
The different areas of the various stages of the Festival have a legally established capacity limit. Once this limit is reached, access to these areas will be cut off, and attendees will be informed in advance and for this reason. Consequently, the Organization will not be responsible in any case for the inability of certain attendees to attend specific concerts or events that are part of the Festival.
12. Prohibition of Ticket Resale
The resale of any ticket is prohibited. All tickets purchased at Mad Cool’s official points of sale via credit card or PayPal grant the right to access the festival to the ticket buyer as the holder, regardless of whether the holder's details are indicated on the ticket itself.
In any case, the original purchaser of the tickets may transfer them to their close acquaintances (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) provided that:
the ticket holder can prove their identity and their personal relationship with the purchaser;
the transfer is free of charge or only involves reimbursement of the original price without any increase; and the transfer is made directly without the involvement of intermediaries, resale websites, or second-hand sales platforms, etc.
The Organization may subject tickets to an identity check of the holder, either through the QR readers at the festival entrance or by other means of identification.
Due to the prohibition of resale, all tickets for the Mad Cool festival purchased through any resale channel, second-hand, unofficial points of sale, etc., are fraudulent. Consequently, if a purchaser resells a ticket without authorization, all tickets acquired by them will lose all associated rights, including access to the festival, without the right to a refund of the amount paid. The festival Organization may cancel them and put them back on sale.
Additionally, without prejudice to possible civil and/or criminal liabilities and subsequent claims for general damages caused to MAD COOL FESTIVAL, the reseller must compensate the Organization for all damages that such unauthorized resale may cause.
Due to the profit-making nature of resale, resellers are not protected by the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users under the DSA (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on a Single Market for Digital Services and amending Directive 2000/31/EC (Digital Services Act)).
13. Prohibition of Using Tickets for Advertising Purposes:
Possession of this ticket does not grant the holder or third parties the right to use it, or its content, for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes (including raffles, contests, and/or giveaways) associated with the ticket holder or third parties, without the prior consent of MAD COOL FESTIVAL. Failure to comply with this point will entitle the Organization to take civil, criminal, and/or administrative actions as applicable against the unauthorized advertiser and/or user, without prejudice to subsequent claims for general damages caused to MAD COOL FESTIVAL. The unauthorized user must compensate the Organization for all damages that such unauthorized use may cause.
14. Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights:
The attending public acknowledges and accepts that the Organization holds and owns all intellectual property, industrial, and image rights, directly or indirectly, related to the performances, artistic acts, or any other events that take place as part of the Festival, without territorial or temporal limitation, and with no other restrictions except those established by current legislation
Consequently, the capture, recording, or fixation of images or sounds for publication or dissemination for commercial or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Organization. The capture of images or recordings is permitted exclusively for the user's private and personal use.
15. Image Rights Assignment
The attending public acknowledges and accepts that they may appear in images and/or recordings taken by various means for subsequent dissemination and/or publicity of the Festival through any medium for informational and/or promotional purposes by Mad Cool Festival S.L., and agrees to such use by the Organization.
It is hereby noted that such images will only be incidental, panoramic, general photographs, or of public interest, and similar, as well as those explicitly agreed upon with the user. These include interviews conducted with and consented to by the user. Under no circumstances will close-up shots of one or more individuals be used for the purposes described here without their consent.
The attending public, therefore, authorizes the Organization to use and exploit the aforementioned images and/or recordings that may be taken exclusively during the Festival and to subsequently disseminate them for the purposes outlined in the previous paragraphs.
This is without prejudice to the users’ ability to exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection.
